Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Saturday, August 11, 2012, 1 p.m. with Reverend Dennis Lacy officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 5-7 p.m.
Mr. Maddox, son of the late Jody Maddox and Ethel Mae Enfinger Maddox, was born April 7, 1938 in Dothan, AL. He was retired from Bibb Mill and attended North Highland Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Maddox was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances E. Maddox. He is survived by his wife, Betty Maddox of Columbus; two daughters, Sharon A. Ogle of Alabaster, AL and Linda M. Bryant and her husband Glen of Columbus; one son, Greg Maddox and his wife Kelli of Midland, GA; one sister, Betty M. Floyd of Phenix City, AL; step-daughter, Patti Greene and her husband Keith of Columbus; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
