Max was such a gentle soul. He and I would volunteer at Salem in Ladue Methodist Vacation Bible School many years ago. He was so generous with his time and patient with the kids. May he rest in peace

What a wonderful man Max was.  Such love for everyone and everything around him.  He brought Joy to all.  When he decided to
down size and move down with his family in GA he came across a box in a closet that contained the pieces of a quilt his dear wife Maxine started.  With the help of three ladies from our church, we finished the quilt and presented the quilt to him after church.  The smile and gratitude on his face, I will never forget.  RIP dear Max.

Max was such a sweet soul. He will forever hold a special place in our families hearts. He came into our lives after a close family member died. It was God's way of helping us heal sending an angel our way. I remember visiting him at spring harbor for a long weekend. He loved watching the hummingbirds, birds and other wildlife visiting his backyard. We went through old pictures of him and Maxine. It was so wonderful to see a glimpse of his life with his one true love. His family was the most important thing to him. He would speak with pride about each and every one of them. Even his grand dog could tug at his heart strings. The one on one time I got to spend with him I will never forget.
