Melanie Elaine Blankenship French

Elaine French, 81, passed away September 12, 2022, at Columbus Hospice. She was born February 21, 1941, in Webster County Georgia, the daughter of John Robert and Ella Mae (Everett) Blankenship.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Stephen French. Surviving is her son, Bobby Kennedy, and his wife, Jenifer, of Ellerslie, Georgia; her daughter, Connie Danford, and her husband, Greg, of Phenix City, Alabama; and her daughter-in-law, Amy French, of Columbus, Georgia. She leaves nine grandchildren: Nikkee Foreman, Bobby (Lindsey) Kennedy II, Rebecca (Jason) Watkins, Savannah (Michael) Watford, Jonathon Danford, Matthew Danford, Carson French, Connor French, and Dylan Kennedy; three great-grandchildren: Kaley Foreman, Jaci Watkins, and Brayden Watford.

A private family service of remembrance will be held Friday, September 16, at 11:00 at Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Georgia.
