Melinda passed away at her home in Fortson, GA on October 7, 2026. She was the daughter of Elliott Irvin Koon and Faye Tillery Koon. Both parents have preceded her in death. Melinda was retired, she worked cleaning homes and taking care of pets. She especially loved taking care of cats. She was Baptist by faith and had attended Concord Baptist Church in Salem, AL as a child.
