

Mr. Delgado served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, retiring at the rank of TSGT in the Analysis and Research Section. He was stationed at several duty stations, located in Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Montana, Korea, France and the Netherlands.
Mr. Delgado became a member of the Masonic Order, while stationed in the Netherlands, in 1972 and held several key leadership and instructional positions, including his tenure as a member of the Columbus, GA Lodge, until the time of his passing.
Mr. Delgado was a published author and recognized as an expert on masonic life and teachings. He was a member in good standing with Prince Hall Masonry. He was a Past Master of Lewis Hayden Lodge #6 Columbus, GA, he served as the Grand Chairman/Chancellor of the Committee of Foreign Correspondence for the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Georgia, Honorary Past Imperial Potentate of the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, a member of Al Faruk Temple #145, Sovereign Grand Inspector General Emeritus United Supreme Council Southern Jurisdiction, and member of Jacob Harrison Consistory #85 Valley of Columbus Orient of Georgia.
Mr. Delgado is survived by his wife of 66 years, Teena Delgado and his two children Michael and Vaundee.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856, US, on June 26, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Following the graveside service at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, family and friends are invited to attend a reception at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.
