Michael Alex Fountain, 68, of Columbus, GA, passed away August 27, 2017, at Midtown Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Friday September 1, 2017 at 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary followed by Graveside Services at 2:00 pm at Parkhill Cemetery.
Michael was born in Dodge County, Ga to the late Homer Fountain and Lavata M. Fountain. Mr. Fountain was preceded in death by a sister; Janice Floyd (Marvin). He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Fountain; two sons, Michael Fountain (Melissa), Jason Fountain (Angel); sister, Gloria Bass (Tommy); grandchildren, Isabella Fountain, Teagen Gatez; several nieces and nephews.
