Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February8, 2018 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Silva was born in Houston, TX, on August 23, 1950 to the late Felix Silva, Jr. and Rebecca Garza Silva. He was a long time resident of Columbus and a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Praise Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam Era. Mr. Silva was preceded in death by a brother, Toby Felix Silva.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Faye P. Silva of Columbus, GA, nine children, Angela Spurlock, Marion Johnson, Carrie Silva-Rosenberg, Rebecca Silva, Michael Silva, Annette Thorn, Kenneth Spurlock, Christina Courtney and Rhonda Valle`, his siblings Kathryn Silva and Anthony Silva, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
