Arrangements under the direction of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.Michael Lee Strickland, 41 of Waverley Hall, GA passed away suddenly Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Columbus, GA. The family will announce a memorial service at a later date. Michael was born December 1, 1975 in Blakley, GA to his parents Michael Strickland and Tami Tyson. He was a Mechanic by trade and loved to repair older cars. Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing but his passion was his family. He loved his children and being close to them. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Along with his parents, Michael's memory will be cherished by; his loving wife of 16 years, Amber Strickland; his grandmother, Stella Strickland; his children, Tami Strickland, Brandon Womble, Harley Fennell, and Kenith Aplin; one grandchild on the way; brothers, Mitch (Leslie) Strickland, Cliff Phillips, Dewayne Phillips, and Brian Tyson; sisters, April Stephens, Sharon Washington, and Audry Strickland; uncles, Danny Strickland, Randall Strickland, David Strickland, Jimmy Tyson, Terry Tyson, Eddie Love, and Ricky Love; aunts, Evelyn Strickland, Deborah Hoskins, Pamela Hoskins, Lynn White, Janet Woodall, and Teresa Glouer; nieces, nephews, other family members and many, many friends.
