Most will remember Mike for the love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren who were his world. He was a devoted father and caregiver to his special needs daughter, Sara. Baldy could often be seen outside with his furry friends. A Vols fan, he loved watching Tennessee football, enjoyed playing golf, and venturing in the outdoors. He was everyone's riding Buddy and was always down for a road trip.
His community will remember him as the “Mayor of Woodland Drive” and the fixer of all the neighborhood bikes.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” E. Davis and his sister, Kathy Kay Crumpton. Survivors include his wife, Vicki E. Davis; his kids, Robert J. Davis (Denise), Sara A.
