Myo Son Dyson, 82, passed away on September 30, 2026. Born on February 5, 1944, she was a longtime resident of Columbus, Georgia, and will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her.
For many years, Myo Son devoted herself to home and family as a military wife and homemaker, giving steady care and presence through the seasons of life.
Myo Son was a member of Korean Presbyterian Church of Columbus for more than 40 years. Her devotion was evident in her love of attending church and reading her Bible, a source of strength and comfort that shaped her life and the way she cared for those around her.
Myo Son found joy in the simple, meaningful rhythms of home: gardening, cooking, and taking walks. Above all, she loved her grandchildren dearly, and she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
Myo Son is survived by her step daughter, Angie Nixon; her grandchildren, Andrew, Amber, and Aaron; and her dear friends who took such good care of her Rick and Ae Nan Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Bradley Dyson.
A visitation will be held in the Fisher Chapel at Striffler Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus GA 31907 on Monday October 5, 2026 from 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM, with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 AM at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery 553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856.
