Funeral services for Mr. Grant will be 11:00 am, on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Waverly Hall Methodist Church. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus.
Visitation for Mr. Grant will be from 5-7 pm, on Monday, December 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
Mr. Grant was born February 18, 1927 in Alexander City, Alabama son of the late William Edward Grant and Nina Wallace Grant. In addition to his parents Mr. Grant was preceded in death by a son, Larry Edward Grant. Mr. Grant served his country in the United States Navy, he was retired from Delta Airlines and was a very active member of the Waverly Hall Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Enza Grant, daughter, Lynn Grant-Salgado, grandchildren, Thomas Berger, and Mathew Grant, great-grandchildren, Brody, Madison, and Matthew, Jr.
