Nancy Carol Mainor

She was born on August 13, 1944 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Delphine deBrabant Smith and Herman E. Smith. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, and aunt. She enjoyed working with ceramics, gardening, and spending time with her family. Carol’s grandchildren were her universe, she loved them beyond words. She was preceded in death by other than her parents, Delphine and Herman Smith, her grandchildren, Kayla Bunting and James Bunting and her brother, Herman Smith, Jr.

Carol leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her husband, Doug Mainor; her daughters: Tammy Sprawls ( Husband Cecil), Sherry Hernandez (Husband John), and Kristy James (Husband Paul); her sons: Jeff Bunting (Wife Lisa) and Michael Bunting; her grandchildren: Toni Arocha (Husband Tommy), Andrew Wilson, Jeff Jr. Bunting (Wife Aileen), Jennifer Garcia (husband Fabian), Ariel Hernandez, Cheyenne Bunting, Brandi Sprawls, Chase James, and Megan Bunting; numerous great grandchildren; her nephew like a son to her, Shane Smith; Doug’s sons: Don, Michael, Ricky, Mark, and Scott Mainor; and a host of other family members.

She will be laid to rest with her parents in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Georgia.
