I love my grandmother more than anything in the world. She made me into the woman I am today. I lost the woman who raised me, my confidante, my closest most dear soul in our family. My grandfather lost his soulmate, and my heart weeps for them both. Their love taught me what it means to grow with someone, what it means to be a part of another's life. I will spread my grandmother's wisdom to my own children one day. I will always and forever keep her in my hear and mind. I will always send my love to her no matter where she is in this universe. I hope that anyone who reads this finds solace and content in the fact that she is no longer suffering, and that she is at peace.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Hobbs family during this time of loss.

Simon:  We are saddened by your loss of Elaine.  Ann was so pleased to be able to call her friend and golfing companion.  She will be missed.  Thinking of you and wishing God's blessings on you and your family.

Mrs. Hobbs was the kindest lady I have ever known.  She loved me, cared for me and protected me when so many others were afraid to get involved.  She will always be a part of my heart and I try to honor her and Mr. Hobbs by trying to do for throwaway kids what they did for me.  Our world lost a great crusader but I know that she is rejoicing in heaven and smiling down on all of her many children.  God bless!

Simon,  I'm so sorry to hear about sweet Elaine.  I am so proud to have been named after her. I remember the fun times growing up when you both visited my grandparents .

Mrs Hobbs was a huge part of my college days while living in Columbus, GA. She was always there with an ear to listen to us girls and a beautiful pool to hang out with my friend Danette.  They even hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner.   Our deepest condolences to Mr Simon and the whole family.
