Nellie Partee Davidson, age 90, of Phenix City, AL, died Monday October 27, 2015 at the Warm Springs Nursing Home in Warm Springs, GA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in the Edgewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, Columbus. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The Reverend Craig Bailey will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Bray, Glenn Bray, Charles Parker, David Wallis, Ron Williams, and Bruce Toole. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Davidson was born November 5, 1924 in Monroe, GA. the daughter of Lester and Ruth Dodson Partee. She had lived in Phenix City most of her life and was married to the late J. V. Davidson, Sr.
Survivors include her son, Jon V. Davidson, Jr. and his wife, Connie, of Pine Mountain, GA; a sister, Billie Greer of Macon, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
