Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Columbus, GA. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time.
Mr. Beasley was born November 3, 1933 in Houston, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Beasley and Jessie Cheshire Beasley. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Burnell Lewis, Mattie Goodman, Omega Dykes, Mary Wommack; and a brother, James Roy Beasley.
Mr. Beasley retired from West Point Pepperell and Johnston Industries after 42 years of service as a Night Shift Supervisor. He was a member of Striplin Terrace United Methodist Church. He was a loving husband and father. He never met a stranger and always looked for ways to help others. He loved his family with a passion and held his friends close to his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Taylor Beasley. They were married 63 years in August. He is also survived by two children, Vicki Beasley Currier (Gary) of Panama City Beach, Florida and Michael Bradley "Brad" Beasley (Caroline) of Midland, Georgia; five grandchildren, John T. Kennedy of North Carolina, Michael Patrick Kennedy of Panama City Beach, Florida, Michael Clint Beasley of Brookhaven, Georgia, Christopher Jacob Currier of Panama City Beach, Florida and Nicole Beasley Franks (Will) of Columbus, Georgia.
