Otis Ricky Crosby

Ricky Crosby, age 63 a resident of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Funeral Services are scheduled at Evangel Temple, 5350 Veterans Parkway, Columbus on Monday March 13, 2017 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held Sunday March 12, 2017 form 3:00 until 5:00 PM and then on Monday from 1:45 until 2:45 PM.

Ricky was born on July 31, 1953 in Phenix City, AL to Harry Crosby and Havelyn Florie Newman. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1971. On June 22, 1974, Ricky married the love of his life Shirley Denise Watson, at the Church of God of Prophecy, in Columbus, Georgia. He worked in the printing industry for many years in our area, being employed as a Pressman by Lithokrome for over 37 years. The greatest joys in his life were his family, his church family and his love of Jesus.

Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Florie (Newman) Crosby; and a brother David Crosby. He is survived by his wife Denise (Watson), one son Jeremy (Brandy) Crosby, one daughter Carrie (Jace) Hammack; one sister Peggy (Dean) Miles; 8 grandchildren Noah, Maddox, and Annistyn Crosby; Brody and Peyton Hammack; and Levi, Caleb, and Leah Mack.
