Paquita and Louis were married in Tingo Maria, Peru, and shared 50 years of marriage—years marked by steadfast devotion and the kind of enduring partnership that became their family’s foundation.
A devoted Catholic, Paquita attended St. Anne Catholic Church. She was a proud American and Republican, holding her convictions with sincerity and purpose.
Paquita found joy in simple, beautiful gatherings that make life special. She loved to dance, cook, and truly lived for the holidays, especially New Years - but loved when her family was together most of all. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished: four children, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, and in the fun she brought to every celebration.
Paquita was preceded in death by her loving husband, Louis Pena Jr.
Survivors include her daughters Jessica Williams (David), Jeanette Goedert (Jeff), Cynthia Spano (Marc) and her son Michael Pena (Mercer); grandchildren, Alexia Bedford (Chris), Geoffrey Williams (Julia), Sarah Pearson (Joe), Josh Goedert (Sarah), Carson Mubarak (Kenny), Colbi Tamez (Victor), Sophie Cecalupo (Josh), Gracie Spano, and Cal Pena; great grandchildren Bella Bedford, John Bedford, Gabe Bedford, Josie Pearson, Eleanor Pearson, Jack Pearson, Jameson Pearson, Violet Goedert, Nora Goedert, Madi Claire Mubarak, and Anna Kate Mubarak.
