family died on March 19, 2021 at the age of 78. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her
and especially loved her.
She was born on October 15, 1942 to the late Mattie Lorene Mayo Pate and Elmer Hines Pate.
Patricia was a school teacher for the Muscogee County School District. She was a loving teacher
who saw the potential in all her students. Patricia was the special needs teacher that taught at
several schools in Muscogee County before retiring in 1994 from Shaw High School.
Patricia met the love of her life, Tony Hunnicutt in 1985; they have been together for over 36
years. Patricia loved her family, they were her universe and she was their glue. She kept her
family together with a fierce determination.
She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her loving husband, Tony Hunnicutt; daughter
Amy Feaster and her husband David; son David Leach and his wife Katie; daughter Ashley
Pavlak and her husband Daniel; daughter Stephanie Beck and her husband Brian; her loving
grandchildren: Jessica Looney and her husband Adam, David Feaster, Jr. and his wife Madi,
Nicholas Leach, Dalton Gossett, Madison Whiteker, Chandler Gossett, Grantham Pavlak, and
Katie Wilson; her loving great grandchildren: Kaci Leach and Duke Dagenhart; her sisters,
Barbara Mickle and Linda Clouse and her husband Frank; and numerous nieces, nephews and
other relatives. Patricia was preceded in death by her sister Jennifer Fowler and nephew Samie
Clouse.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, Georgia. Family will visit with friends before and after the service.
