Patricia "Patty" Ann Williams

Smiths Station, AL- Patricia Ann Williams, age 65, resident of Smiths Station, Alabama, died on February 14, 2014. Funeral Services are scheduled in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus on Friday, February 21, 2014, 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeff Davenstott officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Williams, daughter of Ruby Thompson and the late William Whaley, was born October 16, 1948 in Columbus. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Smiths Station, Alabama. She worked at Fieldcrest Mills for 15 years and retired from the Columbus Government Center property tax office.

She was preceded in death by her father; mother-in-law, Rachel Williams; sister, Judy Elkins, and brother, Frank Thompson. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Williams; daughters; Terri Jeffcoat and Wendie Stillwell; son, David Williams; mother Ruby Thompson; sister, LaWanda Myers; brothers, Bob Whaley, Mark Whaley,and Kenny Thompson; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; other relatives and friends.
