Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 6, 2012 in Striffler - Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus with Father Frank Patterson officiating.
Mrs. Phelts was born March 8, 1924 in Phenix City, Alabama the daughter of the late John Arthur Brooks and the late Lillian Prince Brooks. She was a lifelong resident of Columbus and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Angus P. Phelts, Jr.
Survivors include her four children, Dr. Angus P. Phelts, III, William Brent Phelts and his wife, Nancy, Suzanne Phelts Goddard, David Timothy Phelts and his wife, Allison; five grandchildren, Brooks Peyton Phelts, Jamison Elizabeth Phelts, David Timothy Phelts,Jr, Samuel Keough Phelts, and Angus Patrick Phelts.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church
