Patricia A. "Polly" Seawell

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Bud Rupel officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Seawell was born in Gulf, NC. on August 5, 1934 to the late Hasty Bryant Thomas and Margaret Beal Thomas. She has lived in Columbus since 1963 and was a member of Britt David Baptist Church. Mrs. Seawell was retired from LithoChrome where she worked a s a Proof Inspector.

Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Waylon Ray Seawell of Columbus, children, Teresa Vicks of Sanford, NC, Shari Maulsby (Gil) of Columbus and Cindy Seawell of Columbus, a sister, Peggy Banks of Wildwood FL, grandchildren, Jason Sheley (Carolyn) , Brandon Sheley, Jennifer Davis (Brian) and Derek Vicks, great grandchildren, Taylor Hughes, Xavier Davis, Brian Davis, Jr. Boen Sheley - Weakland and Alora Sheley, and one great grandchild due in April, several nieces and nephews.
