Pat Land, age 60, resident of Columbus, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Columbus Medical Center. Memorial services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, 4 p.m. with Rev. Gene Boyd officiating. Mr. Land, son of the late Brewster Miller Land and Doris Mae Phillip Land, was born January 24, 1951 in Houston, TX. He was member of Cascade Hills Church. Mr. Land was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Sue Land. He is survived by one son, Nick Land of Opelika, AL; one sister, Anita Sheldon and her husband Larry of Las Vegas, NV; one brother, Michael Land, Sr and his wife Pamela of Columbus; one niece, Katie Watts; four nephews, Jason Colletti of Little Rock, AR, Joseph Nathaniel Land of Columbus, Michael Land, Jr of Phenix City, AL, and Christian Roderick Land of Los Angeles, CA; other relatives and friends.
