Paul W. Alexander, 79, of Columbus, GA, died Saturday, April 4, 2015 at home with his family. Born in 1935, to Joe and Lila Alexander in Vernon TX, Paul grew up to live a very full life. He lived in several different cities and states before settling down in Columbus, GA. For over thirty years, Paul worked as a Court Reporter for the federal Government and he enjoyed painting in his spare time.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Lott Alexander in 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Katherine Alexander; son in law, Blake Edwards; nephew, Bobby Russell; great niece, Morgan Podger; great nephews, Brad Russell, Chance Russell, and Dane Russell; best friends, Carolyn Perlowski and June Tinker.
Visitation will be held at Striffler-Hamby on Macon Road Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 11-1 followed by a memorial service at 1pm. The family hopes you can join them in a celebrating and remembering Paul’s life.
