I worked at Riverplace when Paul lived there. Always had a smile on his face and was so genuine. He had painted a picture of my dogs for me that hangs in my house today. I will cherish it forever. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.

 possible care along with Blake and Mary Catherine We loved him dearly. Thank everyone for their love and condolences.

I have already posted a condolence, one is not enough to say how many good and funny years we had. We loved red beans and cooked some in a pressure cooker. Most of they landed on the ceiling, So we went back to an old method his mother used.  Turned out better

I began working for Paul when I was 24 years old and worked for him for 15 years.  He sent me to school to learn to read notes, was very generous as an employer, and was my friend whenever I needed advice and laughter.  He was like my second father for many years, and my life was definitely enriched by knowing him.

You will be missed, Paul.  And thank you.

I met Paul when he moved into Riverplace retirement community. He came to eat at my table and for two years we shared many meals and conversations. He was cheerful and fun to be around. I found him to be intelligent and ready to help people regardless of his physical challenges. I miss him around here terribly as we spent manyy hours together.

I considered Paul to be one of my good friends from the moment we met.  It was my sincere pleasure to work with him.  Never complaining, always cheerful, helpful and funny!  Even though we lost touch over the last several years, I thought of him often.  My life was enriched by knowing him and he will be missed.

I grew up next door to Paul and Gail.  They have always held a special place in my childhood. Although I lost touch after I married, I will forever hold those memories in my heart!  Rest in. peace, Paul.

My condolences to the family.  Attorneys all over the state are always asking me about Paul.

I met Paul in Vernon, Texas in 1955.He came roaring through our hang out, on main St. Some of my friends, made the remark that he had just returned to Vernon to continue recuperating from an accident. I finally met him and we had instant attraction because he was so much fun.  Next year we married and we had 12 good years together. We had grown in different directions, but remained friends until his death.God Bless You

I am so sorry to learn of Paul's passing. He was a class act in every respect.  Funny, hard working, honest, a man of his word.  Despite significant challenges, I never heard Paul utter a word of complaint.  He will be missed.
