Paul T. Sanders, Jr., passed away April 15, 2018. The family will welcome friends and loved ones for visitation Thursday, April 19, 2018, starting at 1:30 in the afternoon at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in their Edgewood Hall. Following the visitation, the funeral services will begin at 2:30 in the afternoon in Striffler-Hamby’s Edgewood Hall.
Paul T. Sanders, Jr. was born the only son to the late Jeannette Jackson Sanders Medaris and Paul T. Sanders, Sr., on November 11, 1957, in Muscogee County, Georgia. The 1975 graduate from Carver High School would spend his life in the tile business as a flooring specialist for many years and be well known for his hard work and dedication. The free and fun loving spirit of Mr. Sanders would share his love for guitars and music with those around him. However, Paul found Jesus Christ with Edgewood Baptist Church and would spend the remainder of his life loving and accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Paul is survived by: his uncles Gene (Gloria) Jackson and Bruce Jackson of Columbus, Georgia; his aunts Sheila Sullivan of Apopka, Florida, Ada Evermon of Columbus, and Kathryn Jackson of Fortson, Georgia; and numerous cousins will miss his loving spirit tremendously.
