Renea was the sunshine that lit up the lives of everyone that had the privilege to meet and love her. Renea was preceded in death by her father, Kyle “Butch” Taylor, and her loving brother, Jeffery Griffin, Sr.
Renea is survived by her mother, Peggy Simmers; her sisters, Beverly Simmers, Monica Chambers (Niecy Sankfield), Sabrina Donaldson (Scottie Donaldson); her sister in-law, Denise Griffin; her nieces and nephews, Jeffery Griffin Jr., Alyssa Griffin-Seymour (Scott Seymour), Jenna Griffin, Andrew Chambers, Kaitlyn Simmers, Matthew Griffin, Natalie Seymour, Nolan Seymour, Norah Seymour, and Huxton Griffin. Her many aunts, uncles and cousins continue on in this world without her sunshine to brighten our days.
Renea leaves this world a better place because she lived in it. We thank God for allowing us all the chance to love her and be a part of her life.
A Memorial Celebration of Renea’s life will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia. Family will visit with friends before the service from 1:00 PM until time of the service. For the safety of all attending, face coverings are suggested along with social distancing.
