I am a Garden City High School 1969 and Saint Michael’s college class of 1973 friend of Ralph’s. Played sports, Mets and Jets fans together. Great music then too! Ironically on 9/14/1969 we took our first airplane flight together to Burlington , Vt.. was with him and near him when both parents passed within 2 months of each other that freshman year. My mom especially reached out to try to comfort the family. We celebrated New Years 1972/73 at Orange Bowl and Disney and memorable boat ride in Tampa..last get together was at Mardi Gras in mid 1970s. He was nice, loyal, always up for stickball or sports and Social activities. Missed his presence at our SMC 45 year reunion this spring and he’ll be remembered and missed at next years GCHS 50th reunion, the Jets and Mets did win in our lifetime. Not sure what he did for a career but am confident he was a professional, also good uncle and brother and friend to many. For myself and family and GC and SMC friends we’re sorry to hear of his passing, proud of our friendship and know he’s resting in peace. A Mass is being offered in his good name at Saint Michael’s College and donation to my dad’s education scholarship there!

Ralph was a good friend to our family for the past 35 years. He will be missed everyday but especially on holidays and special occasions where he always arrived with a big smile and a quick wit. We love you Ralph. Rest In Peace.

Ralph was like a second father to me.   He understood joy, pain, and how to push through no matter how difficult life was.    He listened, had compassion, and taught me humility when I was growing up.  He will be missed.
