Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. 31907. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Correia was born in Columbus, GA. on April 2, 1949 to the late Robert Milton Mills and Helen Virginia Evans Mills. She has lived in Columbus all of her life and was employed by Magnolia Manor Nursing Home where she worked as a Supervisor.
Survivors include her daughter, Sonya Shelton (John) of Columbus, a brother, Roy Mills of Columbus, two sisters, Nancy McGee (Ray) and Donna Herring all of Columbus, and a grandson, Justin W. Shelton of Columbus.
