Rhonda Pate Taylor, 54, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 in her home. Rhonda was born September 27, 1961 in Columbus to Royce Eugene “Gene” Pate and the late Dorothy Rigsby Pate. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister who enjoyed spending time with her family.
The family will receive guests for visitation Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Rosehill room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. A celebration of Rhonda’s life will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 1:00pm in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, followed by a committal service in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Ronald Pate officiating.
Along with her mother, Rhonda is preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy Grace “Gracie” Taylor. Survivors include her husband, Kyle Ray Taylor; two sons, Mick Howe, and Rick (Brittany) Howe; two grandsons, Ayden Howe, and Connor Woodie; her father Gene Pate and Step-mother, Elsie; her sister, Rita (Michael) Castillo; her brother, R. E. Pate; her nieces, Alyssa Castillo, and Autumn Wilson; other family members and friends.
