Richard was born on April 7, 1957, in Savannah, Georgia to Josephine and Henry Cullifer. He was a lifelong resident of Columbus, Georgia and graduated from Columbus High School. He spent his days operating heavy equipment and on his free time you could find him either hunting or fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Cullifer; his mother, Jo L. Cullifer; and his brother, Gary E. Cullifer (Donna). He is preceded in death by his father, Henry E. Cullifer.
A Graveside to celebrate Richard’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
