Richard L. "Dick" Winningham

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday October 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia. Family will visit with friends from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow services in Parkhill Cemetery.

Mr. Winningham was born July 17, 1938 in LaGrange, Georgia the son of the late Joseph David and Ella Mae Carlisle Winningham. He was married to Annette Daniel Winningham for 39 years. Mr. Winningham was an Independent Insurance Agent for many years and later the Co-owner of T&W Oil Co. Mr. Winningham.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters, Louise Kimsey and Juanita Wiggins; his brothers, Robert and Joe D. Winningham.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Daniel Winningham; his daughter Lisa Magoffin (Doug), of Centerville, Ohio; son, Richard L. Winningham, Jr. of Ukaih, California; stepdaughter, Cindy Burroughs (John) of Columbus, Georgia and stepson Joey Powell of Pensacola, Florida; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Winningham; and numerous other family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 5900 River Rd Suite 301, Columbus, GA 31904.
