Richard Earl Missildine, age 58, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Friday August 31, 2018. Richard was born September 8, 1959 in Columbus, Georgia to his late parents Ruby Grace Eldridge Missildine and Maxie Earl Missildine. He graduated from Columbus High School and was self-employed and owner of Missildine Electric. Ricky was an avid Georgia Bulldawg and Nascar Racing fan, and loved to go on vacation to Florida and to the mountains with his family.
A visitation of family and friends for Ricky will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A Celebration of Ricky’s Life will follow in Edgewood Hall at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Along with his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mattie and Reluse Missildine. He is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Terri Lynn Braswell Missildine; son Matt (Blair) Missildine; and daughter Amber Missildine Stephens; brothers Gary Missildine, Tommy Missildine and Tony Missildine; grandchildren, Korbyn Missildine, Rebekah Stephens, Leah Stephens, Wyatt Stephens and Luke Stephens; cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
