Rigney Wynn Chancellor, Jr., age 23, of Marietta, Ga. passed away Monday, May 21, 2012, at Well Star Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, GA., according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Dr. Edwin M. Cooper, Jr. will officiate.
Wynn was born December 23, 1988 in Atlanta, Ga. the son of Rigney Wynn Chancellor and the late Tana Locklier Chancellor. He was a graduate of Walton High School in Marietta and was currently attending West Georgia College.
Wynn is survived by his father and stepmother, Rigney Wynn and Barbara Chancellor; a brother, Trey Alexander Chancellor; a step-brother and step-sister, Scott and Kelley McRee; 2 aunts, Judy Locklier and Chris C. Layfield (Allen); and an uncle, James Edgar Chancellor, III (Kathy); and several cousins. Wynn’s grandparents were the late Mr. and Mrs. James Edgar Chancellor, Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Locklier.
