Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, GA. with Dr. Don Wilhite and Steve Catrett officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Robert was born in Columbus, GA on October 4, 1959 to the late Paul Revere Greer and Shirley Marie Rae Bass. He graduated from Jordan High School and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Robert was employed by Lovelace Plumbing Company for the past 25 years and was a diehard Alabama Fan.
Survivors include his spouse, Angenell Pittman of Phenix City, AL. siblings, Pattie Jenness and husband Duane of Columbus, Chrissy Littrell and husband James of Columbus, and Diana Harvey of Phenix City, AL. numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his four dogs, Molly, Lea Lea, Isabella and Buster.
