Robert Daniel Higgins Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roberts Higgins Sr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, devoted chief engineer at the Columbus Marriott, who passed away May 30, 2025 at the age of 51.

Robert was a proud and passionate man whose life was defined by his unwavering love for his family, his work, and his favorite teams--Auburn Tigers, Atlanta Falcons, and Braves baseball.

He is survived by his loving wife Priscilla Higgins, his three children--Robert Higgins Jr., Victoria Still, and Haley Levine--all whom are married and carrying forward the values he instilled. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Sylver Still, Oliver Higgins, and Brian Higgins who brought immense joy and pride to his life.

As chief engineer at the Columbus Marriott, a role he held with pride and dedication. His commitment to excellence and his hard work touched the lives of countless colleagues and guests alike.

Above all, he loved his family deeply. His memory will forever be held in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know him.

A celebration of life for Robert will be held at a later date for family and friends to attend.
