A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Dewayne Dean officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Robin was born on September 1, 1957 to the late Buford Sawyer and Estell Cochran Sawyer. She enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking a good cup of coffee and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Robin was an avid football fan and WWE wrestling fan. She enjoyed Crocheting, and Diamond Art. Robin was a loving, caring, kindhearted mother and grandmother. She loved to make her family and friends laugh but she could be stubborn when she wanted. She was known as Mom or Granny to those that loved and knew her.
Survivors include her two daughters, Robin “Molly” Dye and Kristy McCrary both of Columbus, six grandchildren, Samantha Dye, Kaitlyn Kyser, Summer Dye, Adam Kyser, Sarynity Kyser and Zoey Kyser, a sister, Shirley Mann and numerous nieces and nephews.
