Rosa Marie Clark

Ms. Rosa Marie (Head) Clark, 69, passed away on April 28, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Graveside services will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 3:00 PM, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 - 2:30 PM.

Ms. Clark was born on October 22, 1941 to the late William Cecil Head and Mildred Kathleen Martin in Columbus, GA. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and was retired from Civil Service at Ft. Benning.

Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Eddie Bray of Columbus and Connie and Larry Charo of Columbus; the love of her life, her granddaughter, Cassie Marie Grimsley; two sisters, Patricia Ann Pennington of Orlando, FL and Martha Jean Norris of Columbus; a loving and loyal companion, Horace Russell of Phenix City, AL; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and loyal friends.
