Mrs. Ruth Coleman, 91, passed away on July 11, 2012. Graveside services will be held in Parkhill Cemetery, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Mrs. Coleman was born in Cherry Log, GA to the late Luther and Lela Key. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be missed dearly. Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Coleman and a son, Larry Allen.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Allen (Fran) of Smiths Station, AL, Ronnie Allen (Diane) of Phenix City, AL, Robert Allen, Jr. (Betty) of Plant City, FL, Bobby Allen of Waverly Hall, GA; a daughter, Patricia Golden of Columbus; nineteen grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Key of Marietta, GA and Harold Key of Chattanooga, TN.
