Ruth K. Napper

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, GA. with Reverend Danny Dyer officiating. A private family interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Napper was born in Brantley, AL. to the late Simon Peter Kimbro and Fannie Sorrells Kimbro. She has lived in Columbus since 1941 and was a homemaker and a member of Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Napper was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Napper.

She is survived by her children, Michael J. Napper and wife Cindy Welhan of Jacksonville, FL. and Jeannie Sexton and husband Dale of Tampa, FL. two sisters, Bessie Gibson and Mary Smallwood both of Columbus, GA, five grandchildren, Janah Sexton, Danielle Sexton, Nathan Sexton, Clayton Sexton and Nicole Napper, a special niece, Nancy Brim and husband Dan of Cataula, GA. and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
