Sandra McCall

Sandra McCall, age 51, resident of Columbus, died on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Doctor’s Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Monday, July 18, 2011, 11 a.m. with Reverend Bob Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Main Post Cemetery, Fort Benning, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., and also on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. Mrs. McCall, daughter of Louise Atkinson and the late Donald Atkinson, was born December 29, 1959 at Fort Benning, GA. She was a homemaker and formerly employed with Charbroil (W.C. Bradley). Mrs. McCall was a loving wife and mother whom cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her materal grandmother, Mattie Spiers. Mrs. McCall is survived by her husband of 26 years, Brian McCall of Midland, GA; two daughters, Brittney McCall and Kimberly McCall, both of Midland, GA; one son, Matthew McCall of Midland, GA; her mother, Louise Atkinson of Columbus; one sister, Tammy Atkinson of Jacksonville, FL; many other relatives and friends.
