Columbus, Georgia- Sandra Reeves, age 61, resident of Columbus, died on Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled at Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus on Friday, August 1, 2014, 3 p.m. with Reverend Mike Reeves and Reverend Hank Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus prior to the service on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. till 3:00 p.m.

Mrs. Reeves, daughter of the late Robert Lee Luther and Annie Eunice Smith Luther, was born March 31, 1953 in Columbus. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Second Baptist Church, Columbus. Mrs. Reeves also served faithfully as Secretary, Glenn Anthony Baptist Church for over25 years.

She was preceded in death by a son, Chris Reeves. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her husband of over 41 years, Reverend Mike Reeves of Columbus; one daughter, Michelle Corbitt and her husband Scott of Seale, Alabama; one brother, Mike Luther and his wife Teressa of Columbus; two grandchildren, Morgan Corbitt and Ryan Corbitt; brother-in-law, Reverend Hank Reeves and his wife Ricki Anne of Columbus; many other relatives and friends.
