Sandra Stephens

Sandra Stephens, age 65, resident of Columbus, died on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services are scheduled at Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus on Monday, January 19, 2015, 3 p.m. with Reverend Terry Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 2-4 p.m.

Mrs. Stephens, daughter of the late William George Morris and Bertha Marie Daniel Morris, was born April 9, 1949 in Columbus. She was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church and retired from the Muscogee County School District where she faithfully served for over 35 years.

Mrs. Stephens is survived by her husband of 45 years, Earl Stephens of Columbus; two daughters, Renee Wright and her husband Terry of Palatka, Florida and Kim Hunter and her husband Douglas of Temple, Texas; two sons, Jonathan Stephens of Raleigh, North Carolina and Christopher Stephens and his wife Alysa of Columbus; one brother, Hugh Morris and his wife Barbara of Midland, Georgia; six grandchildren, Madison Wright, Carson Wright, Parker Wright, Stephen Drew, Savanna Drew, and Hayden Stephens; other relatives and friends.
