Sean R Kennedy passed on July 29, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on November 14, 1976, in Columbus, Georgia, Sean lived in Hamilton, Georgia. A Visitation will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Fisher Chapel, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia, on August 4, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:50 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm.
Sean was born and raised in the Columbus Area; he graduated from Shaw High School in 1996. Sean was a talented and skilled builder and contractor; having learned the trade from his father at an early age he was running crews in his early 20’s.
Sean was passionate about construction; he was a master craftsman. He had done many jobs for people; he was a licensed residential and commercial contractor. He was a new home builder; he did additions and remodels too. Sean loved animals, through the years he had many kinds that would accompany him through this life. His latest was a ferret, which he bought for his daughter, they named it Lily. They affectionately called it Yoou, Yoou. Sean cherished his daughter, Lilah. They did so much together, including hunting, fishing, working on his house, his land, and just being together was special.
Sean is preceded in death by: his sister, Tiffany Kennedy; grandparents, Ronald and Joyce Clipp; John and Anna Kennedy; aunts Lorraine Clipp, Rose Kennedy, and a cousin, Crystal Cox.
Survivors include: his wonderful daughter whom he cherished, Lilah Kennedy; her mother Christin Simmons; his parents, Rhonda and Ed Kennedy; his brother Ryan his wife, Candice Kennedy, his nephews, Tyler and Colt Kennedy; his Uncle Donnie Clipp; Aunt Sharon Clipp Cox; and numerous cousins and friends.
