Skylar Cecil Ginn, age 12, of Ellerslie, Georgia passed away after his long battle with cancer on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Skylar was born October 15, 2007 in Columbus, Georgia to Shana Lee Ginn and David Daniels. A visitation for Skylar’s family & friends will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907. A Celebration of Skylar's life will occur Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 3:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby followed by burial at Parkhill Cemetery.
Skylar was Baptist by faith and loved the Lord. He was always happy and uplifting even on his bad days. Skylar enjoyed laughing and playing Batman with his brothers and cousins and loved his uncle Kevin. He was an artist, liked to draw characters from Five Night at Freddie’s, and even got to meet the creator of the series. He also had many YouTube videos that he produced himself. Skylar taught those around him to be strong and always be happy, He will always be remembered for his smile, kind and giving personality. Skylar touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Along with his parents, Skylar is survived by his maternal grandparents, Donna and Phil Ginn; paternal grandparents, Doug and Angie Spears; aunts, Christina and Tiffany; uncles Chris, Cody and Kevin; brothers, Cameron and London; many cousins, other family members and a multitude of friends, caregivers and teachers to cherish his memory.
