Sophia Diann Faircloth, 65, of Columbus, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 10:30AM at Parkhill Cemetery.

Born on September 25, 1957, in Columbus, Georgia. She was the daughter of Robert Earl Shiver and Sophia Elizabeth Ethridge. Diann loved to read, listen to music and dance. She loved her family immensely and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sophia Elizabeth and her stepfather, Joseph Arnold Ransom.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Michelle Beach (Jason), Crystal Brown (Kirk), Teresa Lister (Frank), and Sam Faircloth (Natalie); nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her brother Earl (Shelby) Shiver; niece Brandy Shiver Rivera; and nephew Brandon (Kathy) Shiver.
