Stephen Ray Goodwin, 63, of England born to Gunner Ray and Audrey Goodwin. He passed away of natural causes in Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Hospital. He was a graduate of Hardaway High School in Columbus. He was married to Amanda Goodwin on December 16, 2017 in Columbus Georgia. Stephen retired from Pratt Whitney where he worked for 30+ years.
He was a great man of moral character and outstanding values. Always carried himself with grace and a calm demeanor in anything he did. He lived a full life through simple pleasures; church, family and sports. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints most of his life and honored his faith. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Gunner Ray Goodwin and sister-in-law, Virginia Anne "Ginnie" Goodwin.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Goodwin; one brother, Gary Goodwin; mother, Audrey Goodwin and a loving family and friends, although he had no children of his own he became an amazing father figure to many whom he raised as his own Stephen Goodwin was a great man husband and grandfather whom will be dearly missed.
