Sue Rich Clarke

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in Columbus, GA. Reverend Billy Duncan, of Beallwood Baptist Church, will be presiding over the service.

Sue was born on February 5, 1937 in Columbus, GA to the late George Brasher (G.B.) & Annie Lou Rich. She was married to the late Robert V. Clarke for 56 years. Sue lived most of her life in College Park, GA. She was an active member of McDonough Road Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA.

Her favorite activities over the years included: gardening, floral arranging, arts and crafts, caring for the elderly, enjoying the Georgia mountain foliage in the fall and social gatherings with her church members.

Survivors include her sisters, Anne Thomas of Columbus, GA and Nell Brannon of Mobile, AL; her daughter & son-in-law, Susan & Rick Tardif of Covington, GA; her son, David V Clarke of Marietta, GA; Granddaughter & husband, Jennifer & James Limbaugh of Milton, GA; Grandson & wife, Ryan & Erin McDowell of Peachtree City, GA; and great-grandchildren: Andi & Grayson Limbaugh, and Allie, Emmie, & Maggie McDowell.
