Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday April 2, 2012 in Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia. The family will receive friends and family Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mott was born July 17, 1920 in Grady, Alabama daughter of Mack Garner and Eula Garner and also preceded in death by her husband Charles Hubert Mott and her son Richard Mott. Mrs. Mott was a loving mother and devoted to family and children and loved life. She was retired owner of Merrell Norman Cosmetic Studio and Beauty Shop.
Survivors include her son, Hubert Mott and his wife Marjorie, sister-in-law, Frances Mott, cousins, Arthur and Brenda Touchton, Anne and Ben Kirby.
