Susan P. Sapp

Susan is survived by her husband Walter Sapp, her daughter Crystal Martin, her two sons Jason and Justin Sapp, six grandchildren Lindsey Grace Sapp, Jacob Sapp, Neocha Martin, Conrad Martin IV, Jack Sapp, and Levi Sapp. She is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Pelham.

She was a woman of unmistakable style, always well-dressed, elegant, and carrying herself with sophistication. She loved to travel and embrace adventures. Her big heart and compassion included animals, which extended into adopting many animals whom she loved and gave a loving home. Above all else, her greatest joy was her six grandchildren. She loved all of her nieces, nephews, and big family. Her warmth, generosity, and love will continue to be remembered by all who knew her and who were fortunate to have been embraced by her. Her spirit will be greatly missed, but forever treasured.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations to be made to Columbus Hospice at 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, Georgia, 31909.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in the St. Elmo Room, at 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia, 31907. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia, 31907.
