Tammy Selly Appling, age 52, resident of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on June 8, 2016 at Well Star West Cobb Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 2:00pm in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Mrs. Appling, daughter of Mary L. Hutcheson Selly and the late Jesse Selly, was born March 25, 1964 in Fort Benning, Georgia. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister; she touched the lives of many other family members and friends with so much love of life and people. Mrs. Appling attended Columbus High School and graduated from Columbus Technical College.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Selly; and brother, Joseph E. Selly. Mrs. Appling leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Larry Appling; son, Dalton Scott Appling; mother, Mary L. Selly; sisters, Joni Suggs, Sherry Selly; nephew, Jesse James Suggs; and many other loved ones.
