Telly Jamard Hooks

Telly Jamard Hooks was born in Jamaica Queens, NY. He was born on July 29, 1974. He graduated from Jamaica High School in June 1993. Telly started his career in the military by enlisting in the Army in March 1994. Telly continued his military career until 2007 when he went to the reserve unit until 2009. He continued his government service as a weapons repairer until January 2020, when he retired as a federal employee.

He had a passion for art, music and anything related to Marvel comics. He was preceded in death by his mom, Marvalyn Elaine Hooks; his grandmother, Willa Holloman-Hooks; his uncles, Arthur Lee and Donald; and his aunt, Carolyn.

He leaves to mourn his wife, LaSandra Hooks; son, Raphael Hooks; daughters; Allyssa Hooks, Jakierra Rivers, and Jasmine (Dominique) Dinkins; two grandchildren, Jaxen and Dakota; his in-laws, Darlene and Edward Jenkins; sister in-laws, brother in-laws, nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn his aunts, Dena (Derick), and Karen; his uncles, James Arthur, Charles, Ronald, Eric, Darrell, and Kevin. He leaves a host of 1st and 2nd cousins and close friends as well as a close cousin, Randi Wright.
